La Dolce Vivre

As global styleophiles, nothing excites us more than the thrill of the hunt. When not on the road, we love to armchair travel through the pages of Vivre. The Vivre editors share our passion for all things chic, and are often the first to discover unique finds from fashion to home decor. The site is a wonder of expertly curated goods from Bruno Frisoni shoes to Allegra Hicks coral candlesticks. With that said, we are beyond thrilled to announce that Vivre is the launching pad for the kelly locke collection online. The kelly locke collection, from $485, vivre.com.

Live from the Sunset Strip

We just returned from a fashion show at On Sunset, one of our favorite L.A. boutiques. Owner Lauralee Bell curated a mix of the season's latest from European and American designers including Roberto Cavalli, Moschino, Barbara Bui, Tuleh, Notify, Habitual, and...kelly locke. The Sharyn Bag made a special guest appearance on the runway in metallic silver glazed Anaconda along with the Palermo Belt in glazed Caiman Crocodile with a 20-carat Citrine set in Rose Gold. Sharyn Bag, from $1200 and Palermo Belt, from $695, kellylocke.com

Franckly Fabulous

If there was a single bag that launched the kelly locke collection, it's the Francke Clutch. I designed and manufactured the first Francke in Buenos Aires, even before I officially launched the line. It's a new take on the classic envelope clutch, using buttery soft Caiman Crocodile and hand-stitch detailing. The original bag was made with The Cross setting: a 10-carat Princess-cut Blue Topaz set in Sterling Silver amidst 64 diamond-cut Onyx stones. I consider this to be one of my signature pieces. The Francke is a classic, understated bag. Yet when paired with The Cross setting, becomes a piece of wearable art (which graced the pages of Vogue Latin America). Fabulous, indeed. Francke Clutch, from $485 to $1,750 (as shown), kellylocke.com

We Heart Leopard

Whether you're on your way to the Bryant Park tents or catching up with friends at the Waverly Inn, the Runway Clutch has got you covered. It's the perfect size — not too big, not too small — that can easily hold a wallet, Blackberry, keys and other essentials (a bar of 70% Valrhona, anyone?). Our favorite version, shown here in printed Baby Hair Calf with Lizard trim, looks equally fabulous with jeans or your latest cocktail frock. Runway Clutch, from $550, kellylocke.com
